Dr. Pavithra Nantheeswarar is the primary dental care provider at Sandhurst Family Dental Clinic. Dr. Pavithra practices dentistry to help patients of all ages. She also provides services in cosmetic dentistry. These cosmetic services don’t just enhance a person’s smile, but can boost self-confidence and prevent future health issues. Her goal is to put patients at ease so they will want to take good care of their teeth after they leave the office. She graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Psychology and a specialization in Behavioural Neuroscience. Because of her interest in understanding others, she later pursued a diploma in Dental Hygiene at George Brown College. This is where Dr. Pavithra discovered her immense passion for dentistry. Wanting to pursue this passion, she completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the prestigious University of Melbourne in Australia. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Pavithra enjoys spending time with family and friends: going on hikes, reading and travelling. She is a strong believer in giving back to the community and is actively involved in various organizations and volunteer work.
