Cybersecurity Risks in an AI-Enabled World
Connecting GTA is pleased to host an exclusive executive information session at Queen’s Park focused on “Cybersecurity Risks in an AI-Enabled World.” This discussion will bring together senior government leaders and technology decision-makers to explore how artificial intelligence is fundamentally reshaping the cyber threat landscape—and how public-sector organizations must evolve their defenses accordingly.
As cyber adversaries increasingly leverage AI to automate, scale, and opportunistically exploit vulnerabilities, attacks are no longer limited to pre-identified targets. Any exposed system can become a point of entry. This session will examine how AI-enabled cyber threats are accelerating in speed, sophistication, and scale, and why traditional security approaches are no longer sufficient.
Equally critical is the need to secure AI itself. AI models, data pipelines, and decision engines are rapidly becoming high-value targets for manipulation, poisoning, and exploitation. Our speakers will address the emerging risks associated with AI systems and outline best practices for protecting the integrity, reliability, and trustworthiness of AI-driven environments.
The session will also highlight the challenges faced by large government organizations operating complex, multi-vendor cybersecurity ecosystems. While these environments generate massive volumes of security telemetry, fragmented tools and data silos often delay response and obscure true risk. Through real-world examples, we will demonstrate how consolidating security data into a unified, AI-enhanced platform enables intelligent correlation, real-time risk visibility, and faster, more confident decision-making.
Finally, we invite everyone to participate in an interactive TTX activity that simulates a cyber security event – this exercise will enable an understanding of the key aspects of how organizations prepare for when a cyber incident occurs.
