Beyond the Game was created to address the significant decline in female participation in sport during the formative years by providing a structured pathway that encourages lifelong engagement and supports continued participation through post-secondary education and beyond.

More than a sports program, Beyond the Game takes a holistic approach to athlete development by combining:

• Long-term athlete development
• Mentorship and coaching
• Education and academic support
• Leadership development
• Family engagement

Together, these pillars create a strong foundation that empowers young women to thrive both on and off the field.

During this special launch event, guests will:

• Learn about the vision and impact of the Beyond the Game initiative.
• Hear from practitioner leaders and community champions.
• Meet the founding corporate sponsors helping bring this program to life.
• Celebrate a new model designed to create greater opportunities for female athletes across Toronto and beyond.
