Caribbean Wave

I’ve stopped by this place twice now, and both times the food has been outstanding. The wings were spicy, perfectly fried, and packed with flavour. Gotta keep working my way down the list because there’s still so much I want to try! Definitely coming back.

We dropped in around 2pm for lunch. The restaurant has a Caribbean look to it. We ordered the mixed fried rice $12.99 and mixed lo mein $13.49. Both come with shrimp, beef and chicken. The portions were large and we did family style. The lo mein came with too much cabbage for my liking. But the food tasted good and the wait time was about 20 minutes. The server was friendly. We had some much food that we got it to go.

I am buying here for as long as the Caribbean Wave is open. Please go back to putting less OIL in the Fried Rice, no other complain. Less Oil in fried rice.

By far this is the greatest find! The food is cooked fresh and the customer service is amazing! It is a takeaway/delivery service. We made it our mission to try every dish, so here is my honest review... Saltfish fritters, goat curry, oxtail, mac n cheese and rice and peas are amazing!! Dumplings/festivals good for dipping. Chicken curry and pepper steak tasty. Not so impressed with the jerk chicken. We highly, highly recommend this family run takeaway and can't get enough of their lovely authentic Caribbean food. Pictures a box meal, but we have tried so much more 10/10.

Had a great experience at Caribbean Wave in Scarborough! I tried the fried rice and wings, and both were fantastic. The fried rice was full of flavour, and the wings had just the right amount of spice — enough heat to satisfy our taste buds without overpowering the flavour. As someone who enjoys bold, well-seasoned food, I really appreciated the balance of spice, flavour, and freshness. Everything tasted authentic and was clearly prepared with care. Definitely a place I would recommend if you’re looking for tasty Caribbean-inspired food in Scarborough. I’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu!
