During that time I also volunteered with Girl Guides of Canada organizing large scale events, and taught First Aid and CPR/AED courses for the Durham Branch of the Canadian Red Cross. In my volunteer and part time work experiences I realized that I was not in the right career and when a permanent part time job of First Aid Coordinator at the Durham Branch became available in 2012 I jumped on it. In just 4 years in that position I assisted with growing from training only 600 people a year to 2700 a year! The Red Cross then restructured and come 2018 would no longer be offering courses directly to the public, but would operate solly under a training partner model. Which means that continuing to do what I loved doing, I had to go out on my own. And here I am, owner of Durham First Aid Inc. a training partner of the Canadian Red Cross, with a training centre in Oshawa, 15 amazing instructors who work with us, I couldn't ask for anything more. I love what I do, and take pride in our courses, instructor development and experience that people obtain when they attend courses at Durham First Aid Inc.

After having two children and seeing a co-worker get injured at work I decided it was important for me to know how to help people in their time of need. By training in First Aid & CPR, I now have the peace of mind to know if one of my children are choking or fall and hurt themselves I can step up and take care of them. I started this company so that I could share this feeling of peace of mind with others.

He put so many South Asians around the world in shock when his first album, “Vazhiyillaiya” on December 14, 2017 in Toronto Canada. The word “Vazhiyillaiya” meaning, is there no way?

Infusing his passion for music and humanity, Kajan tells a story about the Immigrant-Canadian's lifestyle in his first single. In this song, Kajan is about what each every one of us are going through on a regular basis. If translated, every immigrant would relate this to his/her personal life. Those who came to Canada in the early 80’s would say, this song would have been their daily life style.
