I am a Leadership Strategist, Executive Advisor, and Corporate Facilitator dedicated to helping leaders strengthen their influence, improve decision-making, and build organizations that deliver sustainable results. I work with CEOs, executives, and leadership teams to address one of the most overlooked risks in growing organizations: performance that depends too heavily on the leader. By strengthening delegation, accountability, and decision structures, I help organizations eliminate bottlenecks and build teams that operate with ownership, consistency, and confidence. I am the creator of the Take the Lead Leadership Framework™, a model designed to help leaders think strategically, act responsibly, and develop others effectively. My work is grounded in a core belief: If your team cannot function without you, there is a leadership dependency that needs to be addressed. I bring a strong blend of academic depth and practical experience to my work and have served organizations across financial services, oil and gas, government, non-profits, and multinational sectors. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Marketing from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa, and both a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership and a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Regent University, Virginia Beach, USA. I am a Certified Leadership & Performance Coach (Canada Coach Academy), a Certified Speaker, Trainer, and Coach (John Maxwell Leadership, USA), and a Certified Facilitator with Leadership Strategies Inc., Atlanta, USA. I also hold Certificates in Healthcare Leadership (University of Toronto, Canada), Mental Health and Wellness (Durham College, Canada), and Executive Communications and Leadership Presence (Emory University, USA). Over the years, I have trained and mentored more than 100,000 individuals in leadership and entrepreneurship. I am the author of several books, including Readers Are Leaders and Born To Lead, both approved by the Federal Government of Nigeria for use in secondary schools nationwide. In Canada, I contribute to community and leadership development through my participation in the Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade, where I offer leadership expertise to the business community, and through volunteering with the City of Pickering. I am the CEO of Elvis Ukpaka Leadership Inc., a leadership consulting firm based in Ontario, Canada, and President of Dr. Elvis Ukpaka Leadership School, where I equip leaders with the leadership mindset required for scalable leadership and sustainable growth.
