Road Runners “DD” Service is a professional designated driving service based in Bowmanville, ON. Our service was established in 2016 and currently services the Clarington, Oshawa, Whitby and Ajax areas of Durham Region. Pick ups in other areas coming back to the areas we service are possible by advanced reservation with a security deposit. How it works. Our service is similar to that of a Taxi Service in that we are an “On-Call” service. The difference however is that instead of providing you with a taxi when you call, we instead send you a team of professional drivers. One driver will be your “DD” and upon arrival will get into your car, with you to then drive both you, your passengers should there be any and your vehicle safely home. The second driver which we refer to as “The Chase Car Driver” will follow your vehicle to your destination so that upon completion of the trip they can retrieve our Designated Driver, collect the fare and then go on to their next client. All our drivers have been fully screened and are competent professionals capable of driving both manual and automatic transmissions, small and large vehicles. Hours of Operation Sunday – Thursday 6pm – 12am Friday & Saturday 6pm – 2am Later times can be arranged with advanced reservations made before midnight Accepted payment methods include; Cash, Debit, VISA, MasterCard, Amex and Interact e-transfers
